Felcana, a London-based maker of smart trackers, has secured a round of investment capital from Global Venture Partners and Seedrs.  Felcana’s trackers use Bluetooth technology instead of GPS and are focused primarily on monitoring a pet’s activity and health.

Lots of interesting info about Felcana on the Seeders website. (Seedrs is an crowdfunding platform. Like Indigogo, but you get equity for your money.)

Anyway, Felcana was seeking  £150,000 for a 4.91% equity stake, which puts a valuation at just under £3 million.  They ended up raising £333,167 – well done!  Details on the company, their product and the overall market can found here.
